Day 7: 365 Create
Free verse poem. Don’t analyze it, it could be about a burrito…I don’t like burritos.
this
this
hurts worse.
even though
i felt the space between us
growing
before you even
let go.
this
feels worse.
even though
i counted the silence
in hours
instead of
moments.
this
means more.
even though
we never said
It ever

Did I ever tell you...
That I really want to photography obese people. Nude.
Yes, I want to take awesome, brilliantly contrasted, completely fantastic photographs of nude fat people. It will be glorious…at least it is in my head.
I originally saw this as a black and white series but have come around to the idea of using color. I happen to think fat people are more interesting to photograph in richly...
I’ve noticed that I really seem to like body parts in my art.
Also, I love the word “bones.”
Day 6: 365 Create Challenge
I seem to be amused by obscure poetry forms lately. It’s better than not writing at all I guess…it gets my brain juices moving.

Basic 5 Quatrain Form:
Stanza 1: 1, 2, 3, 4
Stanza 2: 2, 5, 4, 6
Stanza 3: 5, 7, 6, 8

Well...
I’m not very good at keeping up with challenges that take longer than a day. However, the meditation challenge I said I was going to do…I did it. I did not meditate everyday but I do meditate at least 4 days a week. It’s strange how time can just disappear sometimes…everything becomes calm…and not a single fuck was given. It’s pretty interesting,…as my...

Equal Pay Day
Yesterday, April 12, was Equal Pay day which symbolizes how far into the year women must work to earn what men earned in the previous year in the United States.
How shocking is the gender wage gap? How’s this for numbers: over a 40-year career, women reportedly make nearly three-quarters of a million ($713,000!) less than their male counterparts and in the legal field women make nearly...
